2005, The Portuguese Water Dog is on its way to get an official acknowledgement
in Italy as a breed with distinctive, specific qualities. A new important
step is the interest shown by the press of this specialized sector.
And most important, we got the first Italian cover of I Nostri Cani,
the official revue of Enci (Italian National Canine Association).
It is an honor for us to have obtained such attention from the specialized
press of our sector. See link for the paper on Câo de Agua published
in the January number of the revue

do Lusiadas is back from the International Exhibition in Nurnberg,
Germany, where he obtained his CAC and CACIB. |
| 20/01/2005, Welcome to Coco-Chanel,
bitch, and to Aramis-Life,
male. These little brother and sister, are only two months and a half,
and have arrived from Sweden. Their long trip began when they left
their home at 6 in the morning ended after midnight. The puppies were
brisk and gay, not a bit scared for having gone through such a long
voyage. They are here to enrich the genetic pool of the Italian "Porti.
" Many thanks to their breeder Lotta Landing: she has sent us two
dogs of nice carriage, beautiful morphology and of excellent temperament.

Show - Great results for the Do Lusiadas
kennels. The first day Do Lusiadas dogs have been right on the scene:

do Lusiadas ( young class) - ECC - BOB
Ch. Quincy and ch. Rossina are at the
final steps of the Slovenian champion contest and Ulisse (only 10
months old) has confirmed once again his great class winning again
his BOB title over his father and over other older and completely
grown up subjects plus other two dogs registered as Finnish but
bred in Portugal. In the afternoon he was selected among other 5
finalists in the group for the honor ring.
