The portuguese water dog's Meeting was held at Lugo di Romagna on November 30, 2004, and saw an extraordinary partecipation. 32 dogs were at the meeting, and some of them come from abroad.

A special day and a special event, the first of its kind in Italy. More than 70 people met together to pass a pleasant and friendly day. the meeting was never disturbed by competitive feelings. What we felt was important was to meet and get to know each other, to communicate our common interest and passion for the our Portuguese Water Dog.

All the portuguese water dog at the Meeting behaved extremely well, both in the competition, and it has to be considering that only very few of the dogs were trained for shows and exibitions, and in their way of getting along together. It was a great pleasure and joy to see the dogs and bitches playing together in the park without fighting or anything unpleasant happening.
